Interpolate function in excel is really useful and I have been using it for long time now.
So I would like to share about how to install and how to use it in excel 2010.
This xlxtrfun.xll for interolation is devoloped by www.xlxtrfun.com but ATM its not available for download ( getting some error while downloading).
BUT
we are lucky that finally I got it from another website to download it And can be download from www.st-andrews.ac.uk .
or alternatively can be download from dropbox link here
Now .. How o install it in excel 2010
Please follow following simple steps
1. download xlxtrfun Interpolationolate
2. then paste it to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14 -xlxtrfun ( plz chk for appropriate folder, there might be alightly changes)
3.open addon
4. Browse for Xlxtrfun and tick chk and hit ok..thats it ready to use

5. where and how to use interpolation function
- In following table here column A and B has date and time but there is difference in time and it will be hard to go for statistical comparison
-Therefore Column E is a result of interpolate function.
- Here column B and D are associated with A and C respectively but for better statistical analysis
Column E generated. Now Column D and E are associated with only Column C .
- Column F shows actual formula used for Column E
